Deborah F. Boland, DO, MSPT

Dr. Deborah Boland is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has a passion for caring for people and improving their quality of life. She enjoys establishing long term relationships with her patients, improving their quality of life and educating them on ways to better care for themselves.

Dr. Boland initially started in healthcare as a Physical Therapist. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Berrien Springs Michigan in 1993 and practiced as a Physical Therapist for 10 years. It was while working with patients who had neurologic problems and seeing their remarkable progress that she found her greatest satisfaction. However, the desire to provide better care to each of her patients led to her decision to attend medical school.

She chose to go to an Osteopathic Medical School partly because of her Physical Therapy background. She believes osteopathic manipulative medicine techniques are a valuable treatment adjunct to many patient’s treatment plans and that patients can be provided a valuable service they would otherwise not receive.
